Das Wort des Tages bei One Word A Day heute: to pluto – in lebendiger Erinnerung an des Planeten Pluto Erniedrigung im August 2006 bedeutet dieses Kunstwort “to reduce the value of something” (abwerten, herunterstufen).
Die American Dialect Society hat pluto zum Wort des Jahres 2006 gewählt, gegen durchaus interessante Konkurrenz:
