Gemüseorchester auf YouTube Startseite
Mit diesem Video:
ist das Gemüseorchester aus Wien seit gestern auf der YouTube-Startseite als Featured Video vertreten. Mich freut es ein paar bekannte Gesichter zu sehen und das Gemüseorchester bei der Arbeit zu geniessen.
Bemerkenswert finde ich das Echo auf das Video (die Macht der youtube Startseite): Aktuell hält das Video bei 729.474 Views. Auf die Flut an Kommentaren hat das Gemüseorchester so reagiert:

we are concerned too. but not doing this project does change nothing. it doesn’t make the world a better place.
if you are really concerned about the distribution of wealth then do something about it! read books about the real cause of hunger. talk with your friends and family about it. change your own life and try to change politics. buy and support the right things. it is not people using vegetables differently than usual that make the world a bad place. it’s all of us wanting too much. our own car, a new cellphone, a bigger house with air condition, more money…
sending the vegetables to africa does not help. on the contrary it destroys the markets there, so people can not sell their own produce, because the imported one is too cheap.and by the way: people have used vegetables for music for centuries. also in africa.

Song Contest 07 (2)
Noch ein Skandälchen um den heurigen Songcontest : DJ Bobo sorgt für Unruhe in seinem Heimatland. Eine kleine politische Partei mobilisiert gegen sein “Vampires are alive” wegen Verletzung religiöser Gefühle und moralischer Zerrüttung der Jugend etc etc… naja, jedenfalls Publicity genug für den Einstieg auf Platz 3 in der Schweiz.
Jedenfalls ein Song, den man während des ersten Anhörens mitsingen kann.

Ein Vorsatz für 2007: Digitalisieren der eigenen Audio CD’s – z.B. die im Bild erkennbare SZ Diskothek, des Popbildungsbürgers ganzer Stolz ;)

jetzt ist’s mal amtlich: Immer mehr Coverversionen [Kult Weblog (kurier.at)] – die hitparadenmusik recyclet ohne ende; stimmt also endlich der kulturpessimismus: alles schon mal dagewesen.
führt alle oldie-sender in die krise, sie spielen nichts altes sondern das original (die hits der 70er, 80er, 90er und das beste von heute kollabieren in eins) – kabel 1 als radio-sender?
